1999 spider-web

Grindelwald / Switzerland

— A large scale work consisting of small pieces of dry wood tied together with string. The web was assembled on the ground and once complete was raised and suspended from the overhanging rocks from a height of 200 meters. The pieces were collected on site and chosen for their dryness.
