Rhien (private garden) – Basle / Switzerland

— A work relying on optical effects in a wild setting. Small trunks of hazel (corylus) were used to produce the effect of the intersection of two forms, a rectangle and a circle. The colour used for the circular form was made from bilberries, raspberries, blackberries and gooseberries mashed together and filtered.
