— Una mano lunga circa sette metri che offre ma anche chiede pace.
Nei due giorni necessani all’essiccazione del fieno, tagliato per eseguire l’opera, sono state create le strutture di sostegno interne. Quindi il fieno è stato cucito (non legato} con uno speciale ago costruito per l’occasione: solo cosi si sono potute ottenere le forme piene dei polpastrelli e dei monti relativi. La mano è volutamente deformato per dare maggior dinamismo all’opera.

— A seven-meter-long hand which at once offers and asks for peace.
In the two days during which the cut hay from which the work is made was drying, the internal supporting structure was constructed. Then the hay was sewn (not tied) with a specially made needle. This was the only way to make the fleshy parts of the hand. The hand is deliberately deformed to lend dynamism to the work.
